Information We Collect
Accounts store your username, email address, password hash, profile picture, location text, saved alert preferences, terms acceptance time, and admin status when applicable. The dashboard may also process IP addresses and basic request details for rate limiting, security, and bans.
Ban Records
Administrator-created bans may store the banned IP address, username, or email address, the ban reason, expiration time or permanent status, creation time, and the admin account that created the ban.
How We Use It
Account data is used to sign you in, personalize alert preferences, show your profile picture, remember admin access, and protect the dashboard from abuse. Ban records are used to block access and show the ban reason and expiration when a banned person tries to sign in or use the dashboard.
Local And Third-Party Data
Weather and map data may be requested from public weather and map providers. Those providers may receive normal browser request details such as IP address and user agent. During signup, the email domain may be checked with public DNS providers to help verify that the address uses a real receiving domain.
Retention
Account data is kept until you delete your account or an administrator removes it. Active ban records are kept until an administrator removes them or, for temporary bans, until they expire and are cleaned up.
